“Amor e Gelato” tells the story of Lina (Skaggs), who moves to Italy after his mother’s death to fulfill his last wish: to meet his father. What she didn’t expect from this trip would be living in a house located on the same grounds as a memorial cemetery for American soldiers from World War II, with a man she’d never heard of. Even with all the wonders of Tuscany, she can’t wait to get home.
However, everything changes when she receives an old diary from her mother, learning a mysterious love story, which may explain her own origins. In the midst of this whirlwind of emotions, Lina still knows Rent and Thomastwo beautiful boys that will move your heart even more.
The adaptation of “Amor e Gelato” is written and directed by Brandon Campfrom “Love Happens” (2007).
Published in Brazil by Intrinseca in 2017, “Amor e Gelato” has two sequels: “Amor e Sorte” (2020), set in Ireland, and “Amor e Azeitonas” (2021), set in Greece.
