In the plot of the series, Dona Isadir (Rodrigo Sant’Anna) decides to move into the mansion of his son, Carlos (Rafael Zulu), right at the beginning of the pandemic. “This mother-in-law is the personification of my mother and grandmother, who came to spend the quarantine with me and my husband. Then, suddenly, we live exactly the invasion of privacy that ‘Agra Que Te Pariu’ portrays – and laughing about it! Just like in fiction, my family is black people from the suburbs, and this story is from all over Brazil, from anyone who, with the whole family at home or not, will identify and have fun with situations that only a mother-in-law could provide.“, commented Rodrigo.
Produced by Os Suburbanos Produções, “A Sogra Que Te Pariu” is directed by Alex Cabral.
