The opera returns to the Teatro Argentino de La Plata and begins with the monumental Aida

With Aida, by Giuseppe Verdi, this Saturday 20 Opera returns to Argentine theater in La Platawith the musical direction of Carlos Vieu and the theater direction of María Concepción Perre and María de la Paz Perre.

After nearly six years, the Sala Ginastera reopens with a large opera production, entirely developed in its own laboratories, with the participation of the three permanent bodies, Orchestra, Chorus and Ballet, extras, and more than 220 people.

The choir will be prepared by Santiago Cano. The scenography is by María José Besozzi, the costumes by Stella Maris Müller, the lights by Gabriel Lorenti and the choreography by María Marta Colusi.

These functions are part of the agenda promoted by the Cultural Institute of the Province of Buenos Aires. The Institute and the Provincial Government decided on 20 April to reopen the doors of the great hall of this large cultural complex, which had been closed since November 2017.
