To accompany the new album, Blur have a series of concerts planned in several countries, for example now, on May 19th at the Colchester Arts Center in the UK.

The band will also give two shows at the legendary Wembley stadium London, where they will have a special guest: Paul Weller.

To all this, in Argentina the Sound Spring 2023 the pre-sale is over and the sale of the Early Birds has begun. The festival will take place at the end of November in the Parque Sarmiento and promises the participation of national and international artists. On social media it is said insistently that The Cure and Blur will arrive. The official grid has not yet been announced.

Along with the release, the band released a statement in which Albarn says, “This record is a reflection and commentary on where we are now.”

Another comment: “More reminiscent of the melodic guitar moments from the Think Tank album or maybe even the more tender moments from Blur.”

The new album was produced by James Ford (Arctic Monkeys and Foals, among others) and was recorded at Workshop 13 in London and in the English county of Devon.

Britpop exponents, Blur made their debut in 1991 with Leisure and with their second album, Modern Life Is Rubbish, they made themselves known all over the world. Their third album was the famous Parklife, work that allowed them to sit at the top of the most popular groups in a scene that included other bands such as Pulp, Oasis and Radiohead.
