Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum Return for the Sixth Film in the Franchise
“Jurassic World: Dominion”, the sixth film in the franchise, had a trailer released by Universal Pictures this Thursday (28). The action-packed preview and thrilling chase sees protagonists from across the franchise come together to face a great threat: the biggest carnivorous dinosaur the world has ever seen. Watch:
The film continues after the events of 2018’s “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, which sees Isla Nublar being destroyed by a volcano. With the park totally devastated, the historic animals that were left ended up escaping to the mainland to survive.
The first official trailer for the feature, released in February 2022, marked the return of three great stars from the original “Jurassic Park” franchise: Sam Neill (“Peaky Blinders”), Laura Dern (“Little Big Lies”) and Jeff Goldblum (“Thor: Ragnarok”).
The actors Chris Pratt (“Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy”) and Bryce Dallas Howard (“Black Mirror”) also return to “Jurassic World: Dominion,” while Mamoudou Athie (“File 81”) and DeWanda Wise (“Someone Special”) are the newcomers to the cast.
Colin Trevorrow, responsible for “Jurassic World”, returns to direct the franchise after being left out of “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”. “Jurassic World: Dominion” opens in theaters on June 2.
