Rosas will transition into his new role from the position of associate conductor of the choir, replacing Simon Halsey, his former teacher.

Rosas moved to the UK in 2018 from Argentina, where she was assistant professor of choral practice at the National University of the Arts in Buenos Aires and worked as a guest conductor in Denmark, Canada, Italy and Switzerland.
A graduate of the University of Birmingham’s MA Choral Conducting programme, Rosas will take on the responsibilities of her new role with the Choir alongside her new position as conductor at the University of Birmingham and her teaching role in the Department of Music at the University of Birmingham. University.

Having moved to the UK to read the MA in Choral Conducting at the University of Birmingham and study with Simon Halsey, it is now an honor to be appointed as his successor. In addition to his new position, Rosas he will continue to hold posts with the London Youth Choir, Birmingham City Council and in the regional singing project, Warwick – A Singing Town.
