The ten new episodes of the Brazilian horror series are now available
The second season of the Brazilian horror series “Desalma” officially made its debut in the Globoplay catalog this Thursday (28). The second year arrives with ten new episodes and features the return of Cassia Kis as a protagonist.
Created and written by Ana Paula Maiathe story of “Desalma” takes place in Brígida, a fictional city in the interior of southern Brazil, where supernatural phenomena have haunted the population for decades, while witchcraft rituals promise to bring back to the world of the living souls of people who have already were.
The story, which is set against the backdrop of Slavic mythology, takes place over two decades. Cassia Kis is Hague, the town witch, mother of a girl who was killed at a pagan festival 30 years ago. She never got over the girl’s death, and, learning that the festivities will resume, she performs a ritual to get back in touch with the young girl’s soul.
The attraction’s cast also includes Claudia Abreu, Maria Ribeiro, Anna Melo, Eduardo Borelli, Nathália Falcão, Giovanni de Lorenzi and Nathália Garcia. The direction is Carlos Manga Jr.. Watch the trailer:
