A Russian court on Thursday fined Twitter 3 million rubles (about $40,500) for failing to remove content prohibited by the country’s law, such as instructions for making Molotov cocktails.

The official Russian news agency TASS said the court found Twitter guilty of allegedly violating the Administrative Law and fined it after receiving a report from Russian communications regulator Roskomnadzor.

The content to be removed by Twitter is an image of a swastika with an appeal that equates Russians with fascists, and a link to instructions on how to turn a flammable mixture into bottles to use as a bomb.

According to TASS, Twitter spokesperson Oleg Volodin requested that the case be dropped, claiming that Roskomnadzor blocked the social network and therefore its content is not available in Russia.
