Three special programs at Louise Forestier in May

Radio-Canada will pay tribute to Louise Forestier in early May with an interview with Stéphane Leclair, a special program hosted by Monique Giroux and an episode of the podcast More than one song focused on The inputsung by Louise Forestier.

On May 8, at exactly 2 pm, at the ICI Première, Stéphane Leclair will meet for two hours with Louise Forestier, who will be celebrating her 80th birthday in 2023. Together, they will specifically talk about musicals in which Louise Forestier sang. The show Louise Forestier, for love on stage will compile archives, musical excerpts, but also the interventions of guest personalities, such as France Castel, François Dompierre, Marie-Jo Thério, Robert Charlebois.

On the same day, at 4 pm, at ICI Musique, Monique Giroux will pay tribute for three hours to Louise Forestier’s legacy by reuniting her with her words and her music. Artists like Michel Rivard, Isabelle Boulay, Daniel Boucher, Beyries and Catherine Major will reinterpret Louise Forestier’s songs in this program called Forester, good sense of humor.

Monique Giroux also hosts the podcast More than one songincluding a special episode on The input will be posted on May 6 on the Radio-Canada OHdio platform. Louise Forestier as well as composer François Dompierre and artist Catherine Major will take part in this episode.
