Amazon Prime Video announced this Thursday (28), the premiere date of the adaptation of “The Summer That Changed My Life”, by Jenny Han.

According to a statement made by Prime Video on its social networks, the teen series will reach the catalog of streaming on June 17, 2022.

Prime Video had announced in February 2021 the order for a series inspired by the book written by the author in 2009, whose first images have already been released.

Amazon recently announced a deal with Jenny Han, from the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” book series, which spawned Netflix’s teen romance trilogy. The new partnership foresees more adaptations of the author’s stories on screen, both for films and for television series.

The plot of “The Summer That Changed My Life” narrates a love triangle between a girl and two brothers, as well as talking about the evolution in the relationship between mothers and children.

In the cast are the actors Lola Tung, Jackie Chung, Rachel Blanchard, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Sean Kaufman, Alfredo Narciso, Minnie Mills, Colin Ferguson and Tom Everett Scott.

Besides Jenny Han (“To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before”), screenwriter Gabrielle Stantonfrom “Grey’s Antomy” also acts as showrunner.

Along with the ad, the streaming also released the official poster for the production. Check out:
