Shocked by what happened, Kansas City Chiefs fans started a collection via the page VaiFundMe, for the purpose of collecting 75 thousand dollars to help the victim’s family. In just a few hours more than 1,300 people gave their contribution.

To the family’s surprise, eight minutes later the pop star made a second donation of the same amount, racking up a donation total of $100,000.
“I send you my deepest sympathies and condolences after your devastating loss. Love, Taylor Swift,” the artist wrote in GoFundMe intended for the Lopez-Galvan family.
This message arrived in the middle of the night in the United States, but for Swift it was in the afternoon, just minutes before she took to the stage to give the first of her shows scheduled in Australia this weekend.
While many doubted whether it was really Taylor Swift who wrote the message for Elizabeth’s family, her own representative confirmed to Variety on Friday morning the legitimacy of these donations.
A devastated family

This Thursday, a few hours after the shooting, Elizabeth’s family testified before the American media about the loss. “We are heartbroken over the loss of our beloved Elizabeth ‘Lisa’ López-Galván, who was an incredible mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to so many people,” they said in a statement.
