With four decades of experience, Paranoid mice, the emblematic Argentine rock band, announces its great show at the Vélez Stadium. It will be the coronation of Tour of the last ceremony with whom they traveled throughout the country.
After a long wait, Ratones Paranoicos, the band led by Juanse, confirm their long-awaited show at the Vélez Stadium on Saturday 14 September with the production of Fenix Entertainment.
This concert caps off their Last Ceremony Tour, which marks the band’s return to the main stages.

40 years of history
Ratones Paranoicos (or Los Ratones or Los Paranoicos, depending on what fans call them) are one of the biggest rock and roll groups in Argentina and Latin America.
He formed in the mid-1980s in the Villa Devoto neighborhood of Buenos Aires. It is led by Juan Sebastián Gutiérrez “Juanse” (vocals and guitar) together with Pablo “Sarcófago” Cano (guitar and backing vocals), Pablo Memi (bass and backing vocals) and Rubén “Roy” Quiroga (drums).
His first self-titled album Paranoid mice He burst onto the local scene with a unique style, which caught the attention of musicians and journalists. There was her first success: dirty starproduced by Gustavo Gauvry.
It was with their second album…Kids want rock– with which they demonstrated their identity and launched themselves into the crowd. It features at least six of the band’s timeless classics.
Rock Cat It was the great success of his next album, Poachers which led them to a historic presentation at the Obras Sanitarias stadium.
Their very high development leads them to sign a contract with Sony Music and release their LP Take or leavethat brings success Giovanna D’Arco. Plastic artist Marta Minujín creates the band’s logo, the brilliant “Paranoid Eye”.
Andrew Loog Oldham, producer of the Rolling Stones, approaches Mice to work on the iconic Lunatic Beasts. The band achieves enormous success with The ship, piece of rock, Cowboys, I’m deadamong other great songs.
As part of a renowned festival at the Vélez Sarsfield stadium, Keith Richards (The Rolling Stones) plays for the first time on Argentine soil, together with his solo band The X-Pensive Winos and Paranoid Mice are chosen as the opening act. From that meeting he began an excellent relationship with the English artist.
In the same year, Mice were asked to open for Guns N’ Roses. In the middle of the show, Juanse trips, falls, breaks his leg and is carried off stage on a stretcher, while the audience at the River Plate stadium applauds him for 10 uninterrupted minutes.
With Made in Memphis, Devoto’s band arrives in the United States. Mick Taylor (guitarist for the Stones in the early 70s) is the special guest. With this great album the classic appears Vicior, produced by Andrew Oldham.
In 1995 the Rolling Stones played for the first time in Argentina and obviously the Ratones Paranoicos the opening act of the five concerts at the River Plate Stadium.
And the story continues today, between Juanse’s solo albums and band reunions.
In 2017 they announced their official return to the media with an impressive recital at the Hipódromo Argentino in Palermo. The album comes out from there Live Night Horses at the Palermo Hippodrome.
