All the nominations for the 2024 SAG Awards: what time and where to watch the awards ceremony

The Screen Actors Guild Awards, the awards with which the Actors Guild is rewarded, will have their awards ceremony this Saturday 24 February.

The 30th annual ceremony is an integral part of awards season and serves as a crucial barometer for predicting future Oscar winners. It will be at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall, in Los Angeles, California. For the first time, the event will be broadcast live on Netflix. It will be from 9pm

Eligible performances must have aired or premiered between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023.

Two-time SAG Award winner Idris Elba will open the ceremony alongside the actress Jennifer Aniston she was announced as the presenter. The star of Friends will present the lifetime achievement award to singer, actress and producer Barbra Streisand.

With 15 days to go until the 95th Academy Awards in Hollywood, and when the voting period opens, it will be crucial who wins tonight. martial arts comedy Everything everywhere at the same time won four SAG Awards, breaking the record for most wins for a single film, and making its distributor A24 the first studio to win every award.

So there are many names that repeat themselves among the Golden Globe candidates Succession, Beef, The bear, poor creatures AND Barbie They would seem to have a certain primacy.

By not awarding an award for anything other than acting, the Best Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture category is like the Best Picture award.
