The actor Benedict Wonginterpreter of Wongcommented in a new interview how “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” will change the MCU, and even talked about the importance of plot to his character’s journey.

“It’s a big growing up moment, I think, for Wong. We saw how he got stuck here, sedentary in the library, and now he’s kind of gotten out of there. We saw him fight – I can’t say – in the movie ‘Shang- Chi’, and so he’s obviously been training… And it’s come to this. That’s the biggest responsibility he has.”he said Wong to the Screen Rant.

Wong made a surprise appearance in “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”, in a take of fighting the Abominablea character not seen since 2008’s “The Incredible Hulk”. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) was also present in “Spider-Man: No Return Home” and other films of the Avengers.

After his biggest participation in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the star recalled a conversation he had with Kevin Feigein which the studio president teased that the MCU should be renamed to the WCU (Wong Cinematic Universe).

Benedict Wong joins the cast of “Doctor Strange 2”, also formed by Elizabeth Olsenhow Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch; the rookie in the MCU Xochitl Gomez, in the role of America Chavez; Rachel McAdams how Christine Palmer; Patrick Stewart returning as the Professor Xavier; Chiwetel Ejiofor in the role of bite; and Hayley Atwell living the Captain Carter.

with direction of Sam Raimi (from “Spider-Man”, 2002 film and the first adaptation live action from Amigão da Neighborhood), “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” hits theaters this Thursday, May 5th.
