Fabián Gianola resurfaced after reports of abuse: “I was abused, raped and humiliated by the media”

In 2019, Fabiano Gianola (61) was reported for sexual abuse by Viviana Aguirre and Fernanda Meneses and, last year, was fired from those cases. After staying away from the media, the actor visited Carmen Barbieri and talked about his present.

“What I experienced was very difficult, I was always at the disposal of justice. “I never left the country despite the accusations,” the actor began very morning (The Thirteen). “My constitutional guarantees have been violated”– added Gianola.

Then, Carmen asked him to tell how it all started and the actor said: “The first complainant had tried to extort me a year and a half before. He reported me for abuse and a week later he comes back and also adds rape. And I was fired by a female judge, no small feat, who said the incident didn’t happen. Not that it couldn’t be proven, but that it didn’t happen. AND the case must not prejudice the good name and honor of Mr. Fabian Gianola.”

“The right to the presumption of innocence, according to which every individual is innocent until proven guilty, didn’t work for me. I was immediately left without a job, I was lynched by the media. I have been abused and violated by the media“, he threw.

Gianola tried to explain to Barbieri the suffering he suffered after being reported. “I was found guilty from minute zero. And justice not only proved innocence, it also proved extortion. And how is it compensated now? How do you clean a person’s image and honor?“, I moan.

“Also, with complainants with criminal records. We have verification of three payments, people paid to report, criminally and through the media. They came to the door of the radio to ask me for money to remove the girls from television. And since I didn’t do it, because I didn’t have it, two weeks later they started reporting me,” Fabián continued, explaining the start of the reports.

Then he continued to recount the criminal cases of his accusers: “Violence against minors, extortion, drugs, prostitution, family violence. Their own families helped me, because they knew they would pay for reporting. I have neither evidence nor witnesses against me. So when justice imposes the lack of merit, such ferocity is unleashed The group of actresses came out to say “beyond what justice says…” and they suspended me from the Argentine Actors Association without me knowing. I found out about it through the media and I couldn’t work anymore.”

“No one investigated, the complainant was not a journalist or broadcaster, she had no CV. They had press officers. And I’ll say it until the last day of my life, everything they said about me is false. “It was an exorbitant maneuver to see if something could be fixed,” she continued.

Speaking about the end of the case, Gianola explained that there was an agreement between the parties, but that this did not mean recognition of guilt: “I have to do community work for the role of man, because Today man is a second class citizen in the world, and we know it. “You have to take very good care of yourself.”

“The first complainant, who reported me on May 19, wanted to extort me from September 17. She worked with me, she felt fired when they revoked the program and she asked me for money. And the threats started, she sent me photos of my children captured from Facebook and she told me about it “Are you afraid something will happen to him, shit?”. This is a person with a psychiatric history and addiction problems who said that you would go on television and say it We had a daughter in common and I didn’t want to take charge.. I sent him a documentary letter and he remained silent, but a year and a half later he reported me for abuse,” he added.

To close, Fabian shared what his biggest pain was during the entire process: “I received psychological treatment, they sent me to a psychiatric hospital., I was taking medications, antidepressants. Everything was false, harassment, threats. I cried a lot of anger and helplessness. What killed me was the helplessness of injustice. Every night when I went to sleep and every morning when I woke up, I dreamed of being on a television program in which I explained everything I had experienced.”
