The decision to admit him to hospital came at the request of his personal doctor, who recommended he go to a sanatorium after the journalist expressed breathing difficulties.

Last Monday Jorge had been absent from his radio program and there his work team explained what had happened to the pilot: “Jorge Lanata is recovering, he had breathing difficulties but he is fine, he is in Favaloro and any moment now comes out, so we send her a big kiss from here,” said Jésica Bossi, who is usually responsible for broadcasting the radio program when Lanata is not present.

In turn, in the midst of his absence, the journalist Alejandra Peñalva reported in dialogue with Luis Majul on El Observador 107.9 how the journalist, who remained hospitalized at the Favaloro Foundation, was doing: “He suffers from respiratory failure, he is completing a battery of “Studies to determine the source of the problem and the treatment to follow, whether antibiotic treatment is necessary and how long the hospitalization will last.”

The driver of the PPT (El Trece) was discharged on April 2 after his doctors authorized his departure from the clinic.
