The duel between Furia and Catalina at Monday’s gala was, without a doubt, one of the hottest of this edition of Big Brother (at 10.30pm, on Telefe). Despite all her efforts, the pediatrician was unable to defeat what turns out to be the strongest participant in the reality show. This Wednesday she spoke as the newly eliminated (she came out with 57.1% of the votes). Clarion about his defeat, his play after the repechage, his regrets, his candidates for the final and the future of his career.

Catalina is convinced that, without her presence, the house will lack the spark. “With me excluded, I don’t see another person who comes on as strong as Furia at home. Manzana (his real name is Federico), for example, I like a lot, but I don’t see him as strong in the match. It was me to ride in a certain way. And I think it might end up falling a bit. Martín or Bautista might come back. But we have to see how everything continues,” said the former participant.

-How are you experiencing this second elimination?

-Delighted. This time I had a lot more fun at home. I was able to generate a nice bond with almost everyone. In the first phase, when I was with “The Furious” (the group formed with Juliana (aka Furia), Agostina and Carla) this did not happen. I felt like I had a leading role in the house, which I really enjoyed. I’m leaving with a very clean game, very fair game, being myself and changing the house up a little bit. Also giving us a little play, a try to eliminate what in my opinion is the strongest player there is. It didn’t come out, but we were close and I think they should continue on this path.

-Have you recently started to see Fury as your enemy?

-I wouldn’t say enemy. I think we were, rather, opponents. I do I felt him let go of my hand. Fury plays alone, we never play together. But if I felt quite disappointed. Many things that she did to others she began to do to me, and I realized that it’s not okay. I think that’s why I decided to be a vigilante, to defend the rest of the house a little.

-And why do you think he turned against you?

-Fury gets annoyed when a person stands out on the pitch and it’s not her. Since Rosina left (in the face to face with Cata) I began to see her as a certain rarity. And then, with the entry of Alfa (formerly controversial, who came back to visit me for a few days), I felt that he didn’t support me. I felt so much more support from everyone else in the house. Then I think so I’ve become a bit of a leader. Guys have been asking me what to do, how to go shopping… and that annoys Fury.. I think that was it, that I won the house.

Your mistakes

-Why do you think you were excluded?

-Because I was very true to myself. I came to be with Fury. When he disappointed me, it was better for me to stay with her and pretend everything was fine. Maybe that’s how she got to the final, because she has a very big fandom. I think that what knocked me out was definitely its fandom.

-Are you sorry for something this time?

-No not at all. I regret absolutely nothing. I think this stay was very peaceful. I had a good talk with Fury. I have never disrespected her, like she did to me. I tried to get closer to talk to her, but there was no way. I enjoyed trying to get it out. I think now they have to keep tryingbecause she is a very strong player and must be eliminated.

The future of reality

Unlike what happened after her first elimination, Catalina says she doesn't regret anything she did at home.Unlike what happened after her first elimination, Catalina says she doesn’t regret anything she did at home.

-What do you think about Coty’s entry (this Tuesday)?

-I love it. In these two weeks Furia was very subdued, because the role I played bothered him too much. I think when I left, he gained super powers. With this income I think a change will go down, at least a couple of days. I think Coty is a person who plays a lot, It can be very interesting to see the clash of two people playing. They have very different games. Fury’s game is to take people out. This is what he does, he manipulates and throws it off balance. Coty won’t stand for this and it will be very interesting to see how they deal with each other and see what comes of it.

-What is your new finalist podium?

-I would like it to be with Martin, Apple and Zoe. I think they are three very different players and each have their own things. Although Zoe seems the calmest, she does very intelligent things, which are not so evident out there. But I saw it and I would like her to make it to the final.

-How do you see your career from now on? Do you want to continue in the media or return to your profession?

-I would like to work in the media. I have something to do, because I really like to talk. I like him flow, the panels… It’s something that doesn’t cost me, I’m not shy, it’s not difficult for me to speak. So the truth is, it would be a dream for me to see this continue. I never rule out being on a panel and being able to talk a little about medicine. And in the future perhaps we will be able to do both. I love my profession, I will never leave it aside. There have been many years of study. And if you study so much it’s because you really like it, otherwise you don’t study nine years at university.
