In the last hours, Eduardo de la Ponte (60) was discharged after having a stroke days ago which required emergency hospitalization at the Los Arcos sanatorium in Palermo. Already at home the radio journalist spoke about his state of health and was moved to tears referring to the situation he experienced.

Last Monday, the historic Rock & Pop host announced, through a video uploaded to his Instagram stories, that he had been hospitalized because he had suffered a stroke last weekend. His worried followers feared for the state of health of Eduardo, who was discharged on Wednesday afternoon and reassured his listeners.

Through his social networks, De la Puente communicated, visibly happy with his recovery: “Well, last information for this bulletin. A couple of hours ago they discharged me, already with the problem of the stroke, which fortunately, as someone told me today, hit the stick and went out.”

“There have been no sequels but obviously now there’s a whole bunch of studios coming up that have names that sound like Spinetta songs. But hey, we’ll have to take care of ourselves and so on,” the journalist pointed out.

But he also gave himself the space to let his emotions flow and through his publication he thanked the unconditional support received in the last few hours. In this sense, he appreciated the affection of his loved ones and all the friends who accompanied him in this difficult process that he had to face and also underlined the work of the medical team that treated him.

“I want to thank so many people, the people at Sanatorio Los Arcos, it’s incredible how much they took care of me, the professionalism they have is incredible and the love they have for their profession. To my family, in particular to my wife Ana, who is still my wife, also to my mother-in-law Ana, who is still my mother-in-law, to my son Martín, to my brother Pablo and to a whole host of family members who luckily I have recovered” , he said with his trademark humor.

“I also want to thank two great friends who are taking great care of me, in fact I am convalescing at their house for a couple of days, until I go out on the slopes again. And I also want to thank all the people who have joined and who expressed his unconditional support and affection. From the networks, from WhatsApp, there are many messages to which I have not responded but well from here I want you to know that you have done me a lot of good, you have made me feel very good, you have “They made me feel very loved, they helped me a lot in this recovery,” he continued.

Finally, he referred to his recovery and his intentions to return to work in the short term. “If everything goes well and if my studies allow me, this Saturday I will return to Rock and Pop, to do the Classic of Classics and resume our life normally. We came back, he hit the stick and walked out. We have to be grateful, and well, as someone said today, they obviously don’t want me up there because they left me down here for a while. Thank you so much for everything, with all my heart, and with all my heart seriously,” she concluded with her voice breaking and on the verge of tears.

“Acv It could have been worse,” wrote the journalist and radio host in his post on Instagram.

Then, in the video, he noted: “Yesterday I had a stroke. I got it pretty cheap luckily. But hey, I’ll be out of the picture for a few days.”
