First full season of “Moon Knight” is available on Disney+
The sixth and final episode of “Moon Knight” arrived on Disney+ later this week, and marked with its epic battle between Konshu and Ammit. However, the director Mohamed Diab revealed that such a scene would happen in another way: instead of being under the starry sky of Cairo, it would be inside the Chamber of the Gods.
As with all Marvel Studios production, until the production is shown – whether in theaters or streamings – changes and cuts happen. And with the series starring Oscar Isaac it couldn’t be different. To the comic bookthe filmmaker said that the shot broadcast on television was actually an idea of the creative team, who wanted to show the city of Egypt at night.
“I remember the way the entire action sequence at the end was written was completely within the chamber of the gods, everything”explained devil. “And I thought, ‘No, we want to see Cairo at night.’ I want to see something outside and it kept developing again. Everyone is participating. Everyone is participating. So it’s very difficult to take credit unless I remind me. So I don’t remember, but I love it. And I love the people seen in episode three Cairo during the day and how different it is from the perspective that people know of the desert and stuff and what it looks like at night, the which is another beauty. I love that about it”went on to explain.
Mohamed Diab went on to elaborate on the filming process, which was obviously a challenge given the mix of real and computer-generated characters, as well as a stark contrast in size between the humans and the gods.
“Just like all other action sequences, you draw with a fantastic artist and then move with previews and shoot exactly the way you envisioned it. So it’s three, four processes and you keep driving it into predictions and stuff until you know exactly what you want to do and sometimes you refine it to the ground.”added the filmmaker.
The complete first season of “Moon Knight” is now available on Disney+.
