“Avatar 2: Water Path” opens in theaters in December – Disclosure / 20th Century Studios

13 years after the release of “Avatar”, the biggest box office in the history of cinema, 20th Century Studios released this Monday (9) the first trailer for the sequel “Avatar: The Way of Water”. The preview shows the people Na’Vi finding a new home near the ocean after the destruction of Pandora.

The teaser was already showing at the “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” sessions in theaters and was officially released to the general public through YouTube. Watch:

The sequel’s plot will feature the returns of Jake (Sam worthington) and neytiri (Zoe Saldana) in the role of parents and living in a place totally unknown to them. This is because in the initial plot, the lives of Sullys is interrupted when the RDA mining operation returns to Pandora, forcing Jake to take the family to “what is seen as a safe haven” on the reef.

In addition to the duo, the film also features the returns of Sigourney Weaver (“Alien” franchise) and Stephen Lang (“Mortal Engines”). In addition to them, you will have the star ticket Kate Winsletwho coincidentally will return to work with the director of “Titanic”. “Avatar: The Path of Water” should be released in 3D – no need to wear glasses -, 4K and with an option of 48fps, frame rate per second that is twice that of traditional cinema. The film officially hits theaters nationwide on December 15th.
