After just over a year in leading the newscast Wire 17news anchor Noémi Mercier will stop hosting this Noovo show in June to focus on making documentaries.
Noovo Info wants to invest more in making documentaries, Patrick Tremblay, a Bell Media spokesman, said in an email sent to Radio-Canada. The development of Noovo Info’s documentary niche will make it possible to make more impact in journalism.
Noémi Mercier will be both host and content producer for documentaries and documentary series.
