Starring Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, “Lost City” is still in theaters
When it comes to action scenes, some names certainly come to the minds of directors and producers, and of course after his career on the big screen, that of Keanu Reeves did not fail to appear. According to directors Adam and Aaron Nee (“Band of Robbers”), the protagonist of “John Wick” was tipped to star in a role in “Lost City”, which in the end, was conceived to Brad Pitt (“Bullet train”).
The duo revealed that they were unsure they would be able to get him in the role and had other stars in mind. “I think we thought it would be Keanu Reeves initially, but he was busy with John Wick and then we thought, ‘Brad was always our first choice,’ but we didn’t think that would happen.”revealed Adam Nee to the ScreenRant.
“So Sandra Bullock did ‘Bullet Train’ and he came along. And I love Keanu, he would have been fun too.”concluded the director.
For those who don’t remember, Sandra Bullock (“Bird Box”) told the unusual story of how he convinced pitt to participate in “Cidade Perdida”: both had the same hairdresser. “I never called him, I never spoke to Brad. He and I have the same hairdresser, Janine Rath-Thompson. She was doing his hair for the movie ‘Bullet Train’ and he said, ‘Can you call Sandy and ask her to do this movie I’m doing right now?’ He never even called me.”said the actress referring to the new film that they both star in.
“Lost City” follows the brilliant and reclusive author Loretta Sage (Bullock), author of books about exotic places in her popular adventure novels, in which covers are stamped by the model Alan (tatum), who continues on the mission of personifying the character, “Dash”. However, when approaching a treasure in the most recent work, during her tour she ends up being captured by a billionaire (Daniel Radcliffefrom the “Hary Potter” saga) in order to make her a guide to the lost city described in the book to find the treasure of the place.
The film is still showing in cinemas.
