Through a narrow crooked corridor of inflammatory veins you entered the world upside down (The upside, in English) of the amazing series Stranger Things, an immersive experience that the Netflix platform in New York wants to recreate as an appetizer for the start of the fourth season, scheduled for 27th May.
“The best place to experience is definitely upside down. If you haven’t experienced the upside down world, where you go through a crackit’s quite impressive, especially with the special effects and technology they use, ”said tour general manager George Anthony Agbuya.

Mounted in an industrial building of old shipyards in New York, in the Brooklyn district, the experience rebuilds the entrance and the interior of the infamous “National Laboratory”, where a landmark is welcomed. the fictional town of Hawkins, “America’s Best Small Town”where the plot of the series takes place, set in the late eighties of the last century.
The guests should be carried by the so -called staff of this laboratorywhere the series investigates the supernatural powers of certain children, such as Eleven.
In an immersive experience, participants can allow themselves to be carried or not by the framework that leads them from room to room in the laboratory led by the villainous doctor Martin Brenneron the one hand, of the children’s protagonist of the series, and on the other hand, facing the public through grids, mirrors or television screens of a supposedly closed circuit.

“I liked it a lot, honestly the interaction and all the technology was very good,” says Kelsey, a 21-year-old who declares herself a fan of the series and especially of the character of Eleven, the heroine with supernatural powers.
“What I really liked was going through the portal of the world upside down and seeing the trees, it was really beautiful,” he settled.

Happy ending, with food and merchandise
After defeating and closing the parallel reality that threatens to engulf the real world of the series, the interactive visit leads to a square where the mythical ice cream parlor “Scoops Ahoy” where characters Steve Harrington and Robin Buckley work and the waiters always serve dressed as sailors.
The place also offers, designed for easy photo visitors pieces of Jonathan’s room decorwhere his mother draws the alphabet with bulbs so he can speak it when parallel reality engulfs him.
But there’s also a phone box, old arcade games like the ones in “Palace Arcade”, boomboxes and all sorts of things and food reminiscent of the eighties.
Of course, there’s no shortage of retro design t-shirts with characters or series titles, demogorgon stuffed animals or the vinyl record with the Hawkins soundtrack.
And of course, a cocktail bar called “The Upside”, where anyone who wants to can have a bad experience visiting the world upside down drinking alcoholic cocktails -at 16 dollars each-, with name that doesn’t disappoint the most fanatical like “Demogorgon” or the “Upside Down”

Short snapshot of the fourth season
The fourth and final season of the series will begin on May 27, already will be preceded by a world premiere on the 21st in New Yorkand the interactive experience wants to show some glimpse of the scenarios that will emerge in the new chapters.
“The fourth season is coming later this month, and if you look inside the venue we have a few things to announce. Pricing for the immersive experience, which will open in New York through July 31 and also travel to San Francisco and London, will begin on the 54 dollars per person.
