The story follows Melinda Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge), a young woman who moves from Los Angeles and goes to work as a midwife and nurse in a small town in California, located in the United States, in order to start her life over. However, before long, she discovers that she needs to adapt to her new home and reconcile with herself.
According to Deadline, the unreleased chapters will show Mel facing a new dilemma: she doesn’t know who her baby’s real father is. In this conflict with Mark and jackthey will need to deal with paternity issues.
“Virgin River” is an adaptation of the author’s book saga Robyn Carr, which has 20 volumes, whose title of the first is exactly the name of the city where the plot takes place. Episodes are written by Sue Tenney.
Besides Breckenridge (“This Is Us”) in the lead role, the cast also includes Martin Henderson (“Pride and Prejudice”), Annette O’Toole (“The Good Doctor”), Tim Matheson (“She is great”), Jenny Cooper and Colin Lawrence.
