Each year, MMNQ awards the prize National Craftsman Day and to Diane Dufresne was presented this Thursday by painter and sculptor Armand Vaillancourt, last year’s winner. For the occasion, the painter and sculptor specially created a work for him.

MMNQ took the opportunity to announce the name of the spokesperson for this year’s Fête nationale du Québec. The unique Marc Labrèche will fill this role.

I have nothing particularly “epic” to do, other than be there and shout my love for Quebec and my contemporarieshe summarizes.

I was honored […], but I do this often because events over the past two years add an extra dimension to the party. The social fabric has been somewhat damaged over the last two years, just in case that fixes it.

The actor, host and humorist with a thousand faces will also have the privilege to deliver a patriotic speech, written by Rafaële Germain, on June 23 at the Plains of Abraham in Quebec.

The evening, whose full program will be announced on June 2, can also count on the presence of Marco Calliari and Pépé and his guitar to warm the spirits from 6:30 pm

As for the menu for the Montreal festival, it will be announced on May 18. Laval’s will be presented this Thursday.

It’s a lively evening waiting for the public, in Laval, on June 24, for the festivities surrounding National Day, which returns this year to the Center de la nature after two years of pandemic.

As FouKi would say (almost) in his song Copilote, it’s time to drive over forty towards the Pie-IX bridge to get to the Center de la nature and have fun with ZayZay.

In a show that promises to be large -scale, presented by Ines Talbi, under the musical direction of Alex McMahon, many artists will take turns on the outdoor stage to perform their own songs, as well as talented Quebec classics. Also present were Isabelle Boulay, Klô Pelgag, Les Louanges, Patrice Michaud, Samian and Sarahmée.

We are really in the perspective of happy gathering, reunion, festivity. Two years in a row we missed each other and there it was like we wanted to dance and say “I love you”explained Ines Talbi.
