Adaptation of “The Song of Birds and Serpents” will be released in 2023
The actor Tone blythfrom “The Gilded Age”, was the big choice to play the young Coriolanus Snow in the adaptation of “The Song of the Birds and the Serpents”, prequel to the “Hunger Games” franchise. The plot will show the first years of the quaternary massacre and how the character ended up becoming the most powerful man in Panem.
Based on the prelude book by suzanne Collins released in 2020, the film will be set 64 years before the first films about Kat niss ever deen and will show the first 10 years after the war, when the Hunger Games were still not popular in Panem.
In the story, Snow appears as a charming young heir to a traditional family in the capital, but who has been facing difficult times that are tarnishing his image. However, he sees an opportunity to change his destiny when he is chosen to mentor the new edition of the Hunger Games, even if it is to help a poor tribute from District 12.
In the franchise “The Hunger Games”, the cruel President Snow was played by the actor Donald Sutherland. The trilogy also featured Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Jena Malone, Jeffrey Wright, Julianne Moore and Woody Harrelson.
