After a two -year absence due to the pandemic, June 24 will mark the return of the Grand spectacle de la Fête nationale in Montreal. Starting at 9 pm, Pierre-Yves Lord will lead the night which will bring together more than 30 artists at the Place des Festivals, including Patrice Michaud, Les Louanges, Alicia Moffet, Sarahmée, Ariane Roy, Jay Scott and Kathia Rock.

There is a right I love my language the show will air on ICI Radio-Canada Télé and on TVA on June 24, at 8 pm, and simultaneously on Cogeco Media’s music stations: 96.9 CKOI, the five stations Rythme, CIME and Planète. It will be available on television on demand, from June 25, on ICI Tou.tv and on TVA+.

It was designed by Lüz Studio and directed by Pierre Séguin, under the artistic direction of Nathalie Gervais, Michel Sabourin, Pierre Séguin and Clémence Aboussouan.

To close out the festivities, a surprise DJ took over the stage along with a brass band for dancing people from 11 pm to midnight.

A stationary parade in the Quartier des Spectacles

On the sideline of this show, the boulevard de Maisonneuve in Montreal will host a stationary parade on June 23, from 4 pm to midnight, as well as on June 24 and 25, from 11 am to 11 pm Between the streets of Sanguinet and Saint-Dominique, the public can follow a fun route with eight immersive paintings as a tribute to the French language.

On the menu: literature, songs, poetry, stories, legends, nursery rhymes and theater.
