Disney misled its fans by suggesting that “Abracadabra 2” would be released on Halloween, which even makes sense given the film’s theme. But, according to the Entertainment Weeklythe sister sequence Sanderson will arrive on Disney+ in September, a month ahead of schedule.

The continuation of the classic, which has already been reprized numerous times on national channels, will accompany becca (Whitney Peakfrom “Gossip Girl”), Cassie (Lilia Buckinghamfrom “Crown Lake”) and Izzy (Belissa Escobedofrom “American Horror Stories”), three young people who accidentally bring the sisters Sanderson back to modern day Salem, and after discovering who they really are, they must know how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking havoc on the world.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy return to production reprising their roles: Sarah, winipeg and Mary Sandersonrespectively. Doug Joneswho interpreted Billy Butcherson in the original version, he will reprise the role in “Abracadabra 2”. Hannah Waddingham, Sam Richardson (both from “Ted Lasso”), Tony Hale (“Veep”), Froy Gutierrez (“Teen Wolf”) round out the cast.

The novelty of the production is that former members of the reality show “RuPaul’s Drag Race” will also be present on the team. according to ET, Ginger Minj (7th season), Kahmora Hall (season 13) and Kornbread “The Snack” Jeté (Season 14) are expected to appear in the film as the drag queen of the Salem witches. Ginger will interpret winifred (midler), kahmora will give life to Sarah (Jessica Parker) and Kornbread it will be Mary (najimy).
