Taylor SwiftThe music superstar, received an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree from New York University on Wednesday, May 18, kissing roaring people as he took the stage at a grand Yankee Stadium.
Wearing her signature red lipstick and brand new honorary robe, Swift joked to the thousands of graduates who attended: “I’m 90% sure the main reason I’m here is because I have a song called 22”.
“I never had a normal college experience. I attended public school until the 10th grade and then I finished my studies doing homework on the floors of airport terminals, ”Swift said in her inaugural address.

The singer-songwriter, producer and director said she started her musical career at the age of 15, touring various radio stations across the country.
