MUBI discloses the complete program of the 1st in-person Festival of the brand – Disclosure/Mubi

MUBI, distributor, producer and streaming platform revealed the complete schedule of the MUBI Festival, the brand’s 1st event to combine film screenings with debate tables and presentations worldwide.

The festival will take place between June 4th and 5th at the Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), in São Paulo. Among the highlights are award-winning films such as “Titane”, winner of the Palme d’Or at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, and Happy Together”, which won the Best Director award for Wong Kar-waialso in Cannes.

  • SATURDAY (JUNE 4)
  • 12:00-13:30: Session of “Shiva Baby” (Emma Seligman2020)
  • 14:00 – 15:40: “Swallow” session (Carlo Mirabella-Davis2020)
  • 15:40 – 16:30: Musical set by DJ Bella Castro
  • 16:30 – 18:20: Session of “Titane” (Julia Ducournau2021)

  • 20:00 – 21:00: Musical set by DJ Bella Castro
  • 21:00 – 21:45: Show of Neighborhood JUP + BASSIST
  • SUNDAY (JUNE 5)
  • 2pm – 4pm: “Great Freedom” Session (Sebastian Meise2021)
  • 16:15 – 18:15: Session of “Happy Together” (Wong Kar Wai1997)
  • 18:30 – 20:00: Chat Loic Koutana and Theodore Cochranewith the mediation of Duda Leiteon the representations of masculinity in the media
  • 20:00 – 21:00: Closing with a musical set by DJ Bella Castro

The festival is produced by Cinnamon and supported by MIS and the British Embassy in Brazil, and will feature an interactive space with free access.

Tickets are now available for purchase and are sold only for activities inside the auditorium. They cost R$ 20.00 (full price) and R$ 10.00 (half price and MUBI subscribers).
