The ultramedia trial to face Johnny Depp with his former partner Amber Heard will add to the final week of having another star on the court, as model Kate Moss, who had a relationship with the actor in the mid -nineties, was called as a witness.

Heard’s defense declined Monday to ask Depp to re -testify as a witness at the trial, which faces his last week before the famous jury met to discuss.

In addition to Heard and Depp, whose statements lasted several days, during the four-week trial of psychologists, police officers, representatives, domestic employees and even the couple’s therapist, na asserted that the abuse was “mutual”.

Last week, Whitney Henriquez, Heard’s sister, making sure he saw how Depp repeatedly slapped the actress in the face in a discussion that took place in the couple’s attic back in March 2015. He is, so far, the only witness who says he saw Depp hit Heard.

On April 11, the legal battle began in which the actor accused his ex-wife of defamation for an article he published in The Washington Post in 2018, after their divorce, in which claimed to have experienced “domestic abuse” without mentioning. Depp is asking for $ 50 million in compensation, as he claims he lost a very important contract because of it, just as he promised to continue the Pirates of the Caribbean legend.

For his part, Heard responded with a counterclaim in which he says Depp launched a smear campaign against him and claimed 100 million.

This is the first time the two celebrities have faced each other in court. At the trial held in 2020 in London, and Depp lost, the actress attended as a witness, as the accusation was against the British newspaper The Sun for an article in which she described the actor as an “aggressor of women”.
