Mona Jimenez celebrates 55 years of experience. The famous singer from Córdoba, the most iconic figure of the quartet, will be honored by the City of Buenos Aires with a free show in front of the Obelisk this Sunday, May 29.

The recital will begin at 5:00 pm with an opening band selected from an online contest with groups from around the country. At 7:00 pm, at the emblematic monument of the people of Buenos Aires, a two-sided mapping will be displayed with photos of Juan Carlos Jiménez Rufino, who turned 71 years old in January.

Then, the leader of the quartet will go on stage and give a show that, according to the Buenos Aires Ministry of Culture, will last approximately 90 minutes.

A few days before the show, “La Mona” spoke about this tribute recital that will surely be massive and that will be the first of several tribute shows in other locations in the interior of the country.

“I am happy, my heart is happy, jumping for joy. More tributes across the country
