The long-awaited first season of “Ms. Marvel” arrives on Disney+ only in June, but first impressions of the series starring Iman Vellani are already among us. The production by Marvel, which marks the first to feature a Muslim heroine, captivated the public, and was considered as “fantastic” and “a treat” for the eyes.

“In terms of fidelity to the comics, of course there’s the power shift, but when tying it to Kamala’s heritage, it might be worth it. As I’ve only seen the first and second episodes, however, it’s too early to say. There are also other characters whose story has been changed that I didn’t really like.”.

In “Ms. Marvel”, Bisha K. Ali (“Four Weddings and a Funeral”) will be responsible for writing and directing the production, which also has a cast formed by Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah and Matt Lintz.

The series officially arrives on Disney+ on June 8.
