“Top Gun: Maverick” officially hit theaters this Thursday (26), and again caught the attention of viewers with its scenes in the air. During an interview with Omeletthe stars Miles Teller (Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw) and Danny Ramirez (fanboy) told more about the production behind the scenes and what it was like to have cruise as your mentor.

“In the first week, he [Tom Cruise] assumed a mentor role because he had already gone through the training routine that we were going to go through. So he already knew what it would take, but I thought that would be the most intimacy we would ever have.”it started Ramirez. And then he told about an unexpected surprise, when Tone told you: “We didn’t choose you because you would be good at playing Rooster, Fanboy or Phoenix, but because you would take [o filme] to a new level, with a sense of responsibility”. “We spend many hours on these planes to be able to deliver an experience like this”completed teller.

Finally, miles said about his experience behind the scenes of “Top Gun 2” and the relationship between Rooster and Maverickwhich definitely brought a more dramatic charge to the plot. “The writers and Tom had the film’s story in mind for a long time. People had been asking for a sequel for years, but he [Tom] I didn’t feel like I had a good enough story for that.”he explained.

And the most awaited point by the public was the appearance of Bradshawson of goosebest friend of Pete, who flew with him in “Running Aces” and met a tragic and fatal end. The character appears in the story as one of the aviators trained by Top Gun, who is among those selected to train and participate in a mission that may not take them back home. However, the young man does not expect his teacher to be Maverickwho in his mind was responsible for his father’s death.

“A lot has happened between these two characters and when they meet for the first time, the audience can understand that there is a grudge between the two of them.”said miles to the vehicle. Finally, the actor left a message for fans: “I think fans are going to expect something like Wild Aces, but Maverick is more emotionally charged than expected”.

The cast still has Glen Powell (“Stars Beyond Time”), Jennifer Connelly (“Tomorrow Express”), Jon Hamm (“On the Run”), Ed Harris (“The Lost Daughter”) and Lewis Pullman (“The Strangers: Prey at Night”). Val Kilmer also returns to Part 2 reprising Ice Man.
