Third year of “The Witcher” has already been confirmed, but still doesn’t have a release date
O NME confirmed this Friday (27), that the fourth season of “The Witcher” is already in its pre-production process, at least according to CD Projekt’s CFO, Piotr Nielubowicz. The information was reportedly provided in the Polish studio’s latest financial results video, which contained updates on its current projects.
Firstly, another new feature is in the works for Cyberpunk 2077 which will bring additional improvements. Nielubowicz also stated that most of the “production capacity” of the studio is being used to develop “a major story-driven expansion to Cyberpunk”.
And talking about the subject that most interests fans, the executive said that the fourth year of “The Witcher” has passed the research phase and is already in development. Check out:
In the original teaser for the new plot, a tagline saying “A New Saga Begins” was included. Furthermore, it is believed that the medallion of Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill) in the video is a lynx, something that may have been confirmed by CD Projekt’s global community director, Marcin Momot.
Released in 2019, “The Witcher” tells the story of Geraltone of the last remaining wizards on Earth trying to find his place in a world where people are often more evil than wild creatures.
In the second season, the protagonist, Geralt take the princess Cirilla (Freya Allan) to the safest place he knows, his childhood home in Kaer Morhen, after being convinced by death that Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Shallot) during the Battle of Sodden. With the Continent’s kings, elves, humans and demons fighting for supremacy outside the walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power he holds within her.
In the list are also Joey Batey, MyAnna Buring, Tom Canton, Jeremy Crawford, Eamon Farren, Mahesh Jadu, Terence Maynard, Lars Mikkelsen and more actors have already been confirmed to return for the third year of “The Witcher”.
Robbie Amell (“Upload”), Meng’er Zhang (“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”), Hugh Skinner (“Fleabag”) and Christelle Elwin (“Half Bad”) were recently confirmed to join the team in the third season of “The Witcher.”
