After the news of the premiere of Obi-Wan Kenobinow the dear presence of Liam Neeson in the infinite multiverse of StarWars.

According to what happened in the last hours, Neeson will come out giving him a voice and vote for the iconic Qui-Gon Jinn entered Jedi Storiesthe animated short films that arrive Disney+, that the deliveries will tell the story — and the Jedi transformation— of each of the characters identified throughout the franchise.

The animated anthology, as promoted by the expert site Indie Wirewill consist of unique stages that further explore the stories of the franchise’s beloved characters star wars stories such as Count Dooku, Mace Windu, Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka.

TheA high-profile chapter is that of Qui-Gon Jinn, the Jedi Master played by Neeson in the ghost threat.

This series is based on a comic book legend published by Dark Horse only between 1993 and 1998. Until now, its popularity has made possible the development of the video game. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republicwhich until now continues to be a classic little game of great reception in between fandom.

While the news is somewhat exciting for many fans, the announcement directly contradicts Neeson’s recent stance on returning to starwars. In April, just yesterday, the actor was asked if he was interested in re-playing his role as Qui-Gon Jinn, and Neeson hesitated to answer.“MMM …”.

Neeson himself indicated his intention to revive Qui-Gon Jinn, when he said he would be back “but if it’s a movie. I really pretty snob when it comes to tv, I will admit. I prefer the big screen… ”, he said, aiming to disorient the fans, perhaps thinking or knowing he would return to starwarsat least put his voice down.

Qui-Gon Jinn is a heavy metal rocker-like character who appears in the first episode of the saga, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. That’s when we see Neeson involved in the legend. Qui-Gon is a noble jedi knight during the Old Republic or the Jedi Order. He was instructed by a greatness of the Jedi Order: Count Dooku.

Jinn was trained as a serious, generous and kind manbut he also developed his own standards and a certain stubbornness which in most cases was not very well received by the venerable Jedi Council.

The last time Liam Neeson and his six foot three used a lightsaber 23 years. Now we can hear it again in the voice of the real Qui-Gon.
