Netflix managed to keep a secret that the character of Jamie Campbell Bower would be the big villain of the fourth season of “Stranger Things”. The actor revealed that when he auditioned to participate in the series, he didn’t even know which character he would play. According to Bower, throughout the process he was not even given the episode scripts, which were being kept under wraps.

“I went wild for, like, two days. In my apartment, I put up a picture of Will Byers with the other characters around and did a Claire Danes-style mind map in ‘Homeland’ of who I thought this person was. I took some pictures, printed them out and put them in a small folder”, told in an interview with Variety.

When you had the opportunity to meet the Duffer brothersJamie told how he discovered the true identity of the oneO Henry Creel. “I think at that point they knew I wasn’t completely crazy.”

He received the role three days later and began mental preparation to shoot intense, emotionally charged scenes with Millie Bobby Brown and marty blair. “To be honest, it was scary.
