“The Boys”: Karl Urban talks about the controversial moment of the series, the herogasm

The controversial herogasm that surrounds “The Boys”, and was once a discomfort to Jensen Ackles (“Supernatural”), the Soldier Boy of the series, was finally commented on by Karl Urban (Billy Butcher). After many hot scenes, the protagonist revealed that he is no longer surprised by the scripts, especially this arc, which portrays a great orgy of superheroes without any kind of modesty.

“In the first few seasons, we would get a script that completely shocked us. I’ve been so desensitized by the graphic nature and content of this series that today I’m like, ‘Okay, of course we’re going to do herogasm'”told the star to Omelet. “[A cena] is exactly what you expect it to be”completed urban.

then Karl told what fans can expect from this new year of “The Boys”. “This third season is without a doubt the most ambitious. There’s more action, more drama and humor. And we have a musical element, a cartoon element”, he said, guaranteeing that he never felt that the production was going “in an absurd direction”., he explained. “This season has some new butts getting kicked, but it’s a lot of give and take. It’s a double-edged sword for sure.”continued.

Finally, the star spoke about what could happen to his character, but he left uncertainty in the air. “This year really tests the characters. It tests how much they are willing to sacrifice to achieve their goals. And in the Brute’s case, the metaphor is basically ‘would you become a monster to defeat other monsters? And if you did that, gave in to your instincts, how do you pay for it?’”finished.

The third season of “The Boys” will also feature two characters to bolster the cast: Nick Wechsler as blue Hawkand Laurie Holdenfrom “The Walking Dead”, as scarlet countess. In the regular cast are Antony Starr, Jack Qaudi, Karen Fukuhara, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Chace Crawford, Jessie T. Usher and Nathan Mitchell.

Episodes of season three of “The Boys” arrive on Amazon Prime Video starting this Friday, June 3rd. Its two predecessors are still available on the streaming.
