the story of spin off of “The Lord of the Rings” was supposed to take place during the so-called Second Age of Middle-earth, thousands of years before the events presented in the films, when the Rings of Power were forged by Sauron. But with the new title, it now indicates that the rings will be an important part of the plot.
“Rings for the Elves, rings for the Dwarves, rings for the Men, and then the ring that Sauron used to deceive them all. It’s the story of the creation of all these powers, where they came from and what they did to them all. the races”this would be the premise of the series, according to the showrunner Patrick McKay.
The cast of the series is still formed by Robert Aramayo (“Game of Thrones”), Nazanin Boniadi (“How I Met Your Mother”), Tom Budge (“The proposal”), Ismael Cruz Cordova (“The Undoing”), Emma Horvath (“The Mortuary Collection”), Joseph Mawle (“Game of Thrones”), Tyroe Muhafidin, Dylan Smith (“I Am The Night”), Charlie Vickers (“Medici”) and Daniel Weyman (“Gentleman Jack”).
