New episodes arrived at Netflix making history
After a hiatus of nearly three years, the fourth season of “Stranger Things” has made history. Volume 1 of the new episodes broke the record for most viewed English-language production in the first three days of release in history.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the sci-fi series was viewed with more than 287 million viewing hours around the world between May 27 and May 29, its first opening weekend.
Previously, the record belonged to the second season of “Bridgerton”, which arrived on streaming in March. The novel series based on the books by Julia Quinn got 193 million hours watched during its premiere.

The fourth year features the actors’ returns Milly Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Wynona Ryder, David Harbor, Joe Keery and Maya Hawke. Amybeth McNulty (“Anne With An E”) joined the cast as Vickyone of the members of the high school band.
Divided into two parts, the first of “Stranger Things” is now available on the digital platform. Volume 2 enters the catalog of the streaming approximately a month later, on the 1st of July.
