The work, which takes approximately 5 minutes, will be displayed in a loop in front of the Michal and Renata Hornstein pavilion, on the north side of Sherbrooke Street West, from dusk to 11 p.m.

Designed with video synthesizers and 3D animations, Counterspace yields horizons that transcend architecture to create contrast and tension between city walls and the poetic space they can inspiresaid the MMFA.

It is the convergence between rock and light, between surface and depth, between the physical world and the virtual world.

Digital Canvas will also make it possible to further highlight the MMFA’s Sculpture Garden as well as the Avenue du Musée, which becomes pedestrian during the summer.

Holding a two-degree film degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Sabrina Ratté is particularly interested in the influence of architecture and the digital environment on our perception of the world.

His work has been shown in Montreal, Quebec, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo and New York.
