the new songs

“I wrote these songs with the certainty that this storm will leave a lesson that will make us better. Even if it will take time. Despite the headlines and the noise of the news,” Serrano said.

we’ll be it was his first album of original songs in 7 years. “I’m not very prolific as a composer. I’m not someone who writes songs all the time. I have friends who live with music permanently. They carry a guitar and at the very least threaten to sing you a song,” he said.

“When I compose – he explained – I know what I want to write, what I want to talk about. And I had some outstanding problems. I wanted to make a song that talked about the care task, which falls on women, another on the feminist struggle”.

“And when I decide – he concluded – that I want to write about something, I do it. This is how the songs, the ideas emerge. I want to deconstruct the myth of the tormented singer-songwriter, who comes to order life, the eternal loser … And I write I’m not. OR see you wake up, where I do an exercise on this. About the singer-songwriter who tells you that I told you “.
