Almost a month after the death of “The Noba”one of his fans has announced that he will call his son by the same nickname with which Lautaro Coronel became famous as the lead singer of cumbia 420.
“I’ll wait for you, my noba jeremiahMy baby, “Sol Riquelme enthusiastically wrote on her Facebook account. The publication was accompanied by a photo of her smiling at the baby shower.
Among some criticisms received for her decision, the young woman is back: “They would like to have a son who calls him Noba, they are envious. Cumbia 420 for the blacks and for the Mafilia”. And she added an ironic meme of an image split between her and the clown Krusty, a Simpsons character.
“We do not even go down with the dough. Thank you, my baby will be the first Nobita. Everything for Noba, will never be forgotten”, concluded the follower of the singer, who was proud and thus joined other gestures of the fans.

Who was “Il Noba”
With roots in Florencio Varela, “el Noba” was one of the animators of “Cumbia 420”, a genre that recovers the basics of cumbia villera and blends it with the thrust of trap and reggaeton, as well as adding -from the name and lyrics – a nod to marijuana. He shared the poster and was friends with L-Gante and Perro Primo, pioneers of style, all close to DT.Bilardo, the producer behind the phenomenon.
Coronel coined his nickname in the streets of Varela, a derivative of “I don’t even go down with pasta”, referring to the use of Clonazepam to mitigate the euphoria caused by the consumption of cocaine. Under that stage name – he had it tattooed on his right arm – he gathered thousands of followers with his songs, the best known of which “Tamo Chelo”which on YouTube alone has more than 18 million views.
It was in that municipality where he suffered the accident with his motorcycle that made him hospitalized with multiple injuries and a severe head injury. It happened in a corner of the Senzabello neighborhood, when he was driving at over 140 kilometers per hour.

The motorcycle was one of his passions. In social media he portrayed himself on two wheels, even with dangerous maneuvers. He had already had an accident in one of those vehicles: in February he was caught driving a stolen Yamaha XTZ 250 and spent four days detained at the first Berazategui police station.
A few hours before the accident, on his Instagram account he had exposed his more sentimental side. She enthusiastically showed the first progress in building a house for her daughter, just 6 years old, on land she had just bought. “Until one day you and music changed my life. Thank you for listening to me, thank you for entrusting me. Today I have my land, the house of my dreams”, she wrote.
Another flag was football, with an indelible link with Difesa e Giustizia, the Varela club that has supported the greatest Argentine footballers for almost a decade. He had “La Banda de Varela” tattooed, of his times in avalanche protection with the Halcon brave bar, and on April 15 2021 he realized a dream: he participated in the official celebrations at the Norberto “Tito” Tomaghello stadium for obtaining the South America Cup.
