Netflix has presented the trailer for Pipa, the new film by Luisana Lopilato which will debut on July 27.

One of Netflix’s strongest releases in July is Tube, with Luisana Lopilato. The film, which closes the trilogy of the character based on the novels of the journalist and writer Florencia Etcheves opens on Wednesday 27 next month.

is approx the third and last episode in the story of Manuela Pelarithe police officer everyone knew in the shots Lost (2018) and The intuition (2020). The new film was shot in Argentina, in natural places in Salta and Jujuy.

In a suspense and action detective thriller, Tube was directed by Alejandro Montiel based on a screenplay by Mili Roque Pittand of the same Montiel and Etcheves.

Lopilato is supported by a strong cast: Mauricio Paniagua (from the series Monsoon), Ines Estevezthe Chilean Paulina Garcia, Ariel Staltari (squatters) and Malena Narvay.

They are joined, among others, by Aquiles Casabella, Benjamín Del Cerro, Santiago Artemis, Laura González, Ivonne Quispe, Mercedes Burgos and Javier Flores.

In the film that closes the trilogy, Manuela “Pipa” Pelari is no longer the same. The tough and brave woman who survived her time in the police by breaking rules and keeping dark secrets has decided to change her life.

After leaving her job as a detective and freeing the smuggler Cornelia Villalba, “Pipa” collapses. Her aunt, Alicia Pelari, rescues her and takes her to La Quebrada, a small town in northern Argentina where she lives retired from her profession and isolated with her son Tobías for years.

But when everything seems to be calm, the charred corpse of a young woman appears in the middle of the mountain in La Quebrada. Y Alicia convinces her to investigate that death, which is initially classified as an accident..

With the help of a local policeman (Paniagua), Pipa must unravel a network of complicity between the city authorities and the Carreras, an upper-class family that appears to be involved in the case. This is how Pelari will return to the places he thought he fled from, endangering his and Tobias’ lives.

Pipa’s predecessors

As already mentioned, Pipa is the third film about the character played by Lopilato and created by Etcheves. The first in the series was Lostreleased in theaters in 2018.

There, Pelari investigates the disappearance of the teenager Cornelia Villalba after attending a party in Argentine Patagonia, fourteen years after the fact.

Pipa was her best friend and at the time she was a talented policewoman specializing in kidnapping and human trafficking cases, but with many conflicts with her superiors.

In the film, which was a co-production with Spain, the actress Married with Children shared the cast with Spanish Amaia Salamanca and Argentines Rafael Spregelburd, Nicolás Furtado and Oriana Sabatini, among others.

A Lost he followed intuition, which premiered in 2020 directly on Netflix. The story, presented as a prequel to Lost, shows a Pipa just graduated from the police academy and working in the homicide division alongside Francisco Juanez, a controversial inspector for his investigative methods.

In those beginnings, the young policeman investigates the murder of a young woman whose main suspect is the victim’s best friend. Lopilato shared a cast in this film with Joaquín Furriel, Rafael Ferro and Maite Lanata.among others.
