FIFA announces new Qatar World Cup ticket sale: where to register and how to get them

FIFA has announced that next Tuesday it will open a new ticket sale for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, which will be the first with 32 confirmed participants. The organization confirmed that 1.8 million tickets have already been sold, less than five months before the tournament starts.

The sale will open next Tuesday, 5 July at 12 noon in Doha (18 in Argentina) on the official FIFA website (https://www.fifa.com/es/tickets) and will run until 5 July. August.

FIFA has confirmed that tickets will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and will be confirmed immediately after payment.

It is clarified, however, that in the event that they receive “a large volume of requests” they will signal an “order of priority”.

It should be remembered that one person will be able to purchase “a maximum of six tickets per match” and a total of “sixty for the entire competition”.

According to a report by The Times newspaper published earlier this month, the Argentine team was the participant with the most tickets required for the World Cup first round, only below the World Cup final to be held. on December 18.
