The good doctorbroadcast since 2017, is the American version of the South Korean series of the same name, released in 2013. Produced by Sony Pictures Television and ABC Studios, it tells the story of Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon with autism and wise man syndrome who develops his work at the fictional St. Bonaventure Hospital in San José, California.
Also in the main cast are Antonia Thomas, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chuku Modu, Beau Garrett, Hill Harper, Richard Schiff and Tamlyn Tomita.
The series became one of the TV phenomena of the year in the United States, in its first season, thanks to the characteristics of the main character and the interpretation of Freddie Highmore.
The success of the series also spawned a Turkish version, Doctor Alibroadcast in Argentina, by Telefe, last year, also with great repercussion.
