A few days after its exposure, in an interview with ClarioneBullrich tells how she lived her participation, the importance of being able to be accompanied by her father, how he infected her with his love for music and how her life changed when They found out about his disease.
– Why did you decide to perform? The Argentine voice?
– Since I was a girl, I see The voice and I have a lot of fun. Signing up has always been my dream, but I saw it as something unreal. And this year, since I turned 18 and I was old enough, it was tough for me, but I signed up. It was like testing myself because I know little about it. I talked to my parents about it, I told them what they think and they said “Yes, you will win”, ¿. There was no less objective look … I went on the last day of the casting.

-How did you live the moment when you sang in front of Mau and Ricky, La Sole, Montaner and Lali?
-If I’ve been seen relaxed, I’m a good actress. For me it was something new, I was nervous, but with the support of my family it became easier for me. I was wrong to sing. I sang at the Movistar Arena, but it felt more like an interview with my family and I didn’t have that much pressure. held in combat against the SLA).
-The return of the jury was fantastic, how did you take the criticism?
I never thought they would turn around. For me it was more of a game. I never thought I would win. While singing I noticed that I had made mistakes. I was paralyzed, when they talked to me, I agreed with everything they said to me but I didn’t even go out and I nodded my head. It is difficult to accept criticism. But they know more than I do. What’s better than receiving it from five people who know so much. Best of all, they were able to tell me everything. The idea is that it is a time of learning.
-What happened when the cameras were turned off?
-Everyone said goodbye and from there they went back to their chairs, we were very moved as a family. And I saw on the screen that everyone was surprised. That’s where I got the record of everything that just happened. He was unaware of what had happened. I thought “it’s good that there is something behind it”.

-How was your passion for music born?
-I swore it was Adele, I sang since I was little. At home I sang to my parents, I sang badly, but it was entertainment. Then I studied musical comedy from 8 to 11 years old. The shows were my time to show myself and challenge myself. we did the Lion King Y Aladdin. Later I had a singing and guitar teacher.
-What did they listen to in your house?
-We listened to a lot of Queen at home. My dad was a Queen fan when he was young, so he gave it to me in full. Freddie Mercury’s talent touched me a lot. I’ve always been drawn to his ability to move the masses. For me music is being able to convey something beyond vocal talent, which people leave with something. We also listened to Jorge Drexler and a lot of national rock, Charly García, La Mancha de Rolando.
-A little over a year ago your father was diagnosed with ALS. How was the moment he told you?
-Dad brought the whole family together and told us that he had been diagnosed with a degenerative disease that would have aged him in less time. At the time we said to ourselves, what do we do? But none of them knew much … We didn’t look for what it was. We prefer to live it like this and enjoy today.

-What have you learned as a family all this time?
-Living in the now. We have no idea what will happen to any of us tomorrow. Sometimes we think a lot about the past, about the future … We live quickly. Now I think about what I am doing to live in the present. Dad’s illness taught us a lot about this.
-How has your relationship with your father changed all this time?
-The dynamic changes because he can no longer do some things, but he is the same Esteban we knew. We all do our best to spend as much time with him as possible. The ratio is the same, but there are practical things that change due to reduced mobility. I admire him so much, he’s not afraid to speak out about him. He is very inspiring every day, he gives everything to have a better country for us and for all who come. It makes you want to listen to it all day. God is a great guide and mover in our lives. It is an honor and a fortune to be Catholic. Without faith it would have cost us much more.
-You study behavioral science, what is it about?
-You study why people share in what or in this way. Mix the human with the analytic. Psychology, sociology and sciences. I love it, I’m super excited. I learned about the career in school and was very interested.
-How do you see yourself in the future?
-Dad always says the phrase of Saint Augustine which says “Plan as if you were to live 100 years and live as if you were to die tomorrow”. So my planning is ongoing. I am very young. I want to keep working in music, learning. If this singing thing seems to do something that moves someone in their life, I’m happy already.
-You start with great reviews …
-That hearing was a test for myself to say that I am capable of doing something with what God has given me. I am proud of what I have been and very grateful to God and to all the people who have been a part of it. I want to keep learning the smaller things. God will provide.
