Gregory Itzin, the remembered president Logan of the 24 series, is dead

Gregory Itzin, an American film and television actor, known for his role as Charles Logan in the television series, has died. 24where he shot 44 episodes, starting with season 4.

Itzin played President Charles Logan 24 from 2005 to 2010. He made his debut during the episode entitled Day 4where he played the vice president.

for his work in 24 was nominated for two Emmy Awards: Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2006 and Best Guest Actor in a Drama Series in 2010.

He was also named with the rest of the 24 selected for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series in 2007.

John Cassar, director and executive producer of 24, posted an announcement of Itzin’s death.

“My friend Greg Itzin died today,” Cassar tweeted. “He was one of the most talented actors I had the honor of working with, but above all he was a good guy in every respect. His family will miss him 24, who had nothing but love and respect for him. You left your mark, now rest in peace man.
