An intergenerational group that includes figures from film, sports, television and music, such as Bruce Springsteen, Hugh Jackman, Elton John, Jon Bon Jovi, Jonas Brothers and Billie Eilish, joined a social media campaign to showcase their I support Ukraine, such as Juanes, Luis Fonsi and Alejandro Sanz.
The social media initiative, launched by the organization Global Citizen on Friday, urges governments, institutions, companies and individuals to help fund humanitarian efforts in Ukraine and other regions of the world. Celebrities use the hashtag #StandUpForUkraine on their social networks to promote the effort.

Bruce Springsteen posted a video on Friday to show his support: “Refugees in Ukraine and other parts of the world need your help right now,” he said. “Everyone deserves to live in safe and humane conditions.”

The initiative came a day before a fundraising event for refugees from Ukraine called by European Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyen and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
It was all announced a week ago, with the slogan of raising funds to help vulnerable civilians affected by the conflict and support refugees around the world.
At the virtual rally, various celebrities will ask for donations for humanitarian efforts in favor of Ukraine and refugees from other countries, such as Yemen, South Sudan and Afghanistan. Among them, all those who slander their fans in the networks and who have now come out with all their force in the media with the most explicit and massive support of the artists in recent weeks.
