According to the same source, the actress’s attorneys filed a “Notice of Intent to Appeal” in the Fairfax County, Virginia, court on Thursday.
The star had been ordered to pay $10 million to her ex-husband, who had charged her with defamation over an article in the Washington Post in 2018 in which he claimed to have been a victim of “domestic violence”. For her part, Amber Heard had gotten the actor to pay her $2 million.
